Home / About
A small practice that takes its time.
We keep the firm intentionally small so that you always work with the same attorney, from first call to final signature.
Eleanor Larkin
Founding attorney
Eleanor started Larkin Estate Law in 2011 after helping her own family through a difficult probate following her grandfather's death. The paperwork wasn't the hardest part. The uncertainty was.
She built the practice around a simple idea: estate planning should feel like caring for your family, not preparing for a lawsuit. Clients describe her as patient, warm and impossibly organized.
Outside the office she volunteers with a local hospice, hikes the Blue Ridge Parkway, and teaches the firm's free community workshops.

How we practice
Gentleness
These conversations touch on loss and family. We go at your pace and never rush a decision.
Clarity
Flat fees, plain language summaries and timelines you can see. No surprises.
Follow-through
A trust that isn't funded doesn't work. We make sure your plan is actually finished.
The team
Three people you'll come to know by name.
We'd be glad to meet you.
